I Don't look any further. Book this place now. We have been going up north for over 40 years and I have to say we never stayed in a nicer home. Great for a family vacation plenty of room and an enclosed porch that no one else will have. It is amazing. This place is the best of the North inside and out. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. I absolutely love this cabin and the area. This home is very comfortable and cozy with lots of room. This home has everything that you may need including kitchen items and a washer/dryer! There is a nice area by the lake to play cornhole/bags or set up volleyball net. I have been going every summer for years and I always look forward to going back. No matter the time of year the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do! I would highly recommend!

November   The weather was unexpected but beautiful.  Sunny, cold and 22 inches of fresh snow.   We enjoyed some relaxing time with 9 of us at Sunset Getaway.  Snowshoeing, outside bonfire by the lake, playing board games and enjoying some refreshments and steaks on the grill.!  We visited Sisters Saloon and Sayner Pub.  The house was great for our winter getaway, a beautiful home and the snow was pituresque !!


 Loved staying in this spacious modern home.  Enjoyed the grounds and the amenities.  We caught our limit of Walleyes.  Had fun on the pontoon and go-karting at Elmers!   Hope to be back soon!

We had Perfect weather this week.  WOW!  Every day was sunshine and 70s.  We had a blast tubing, fishing, boating go karting, and site seeing.  The sayner ski show was great.  We ate at Spangs, Little Bohemia, cooked great meals here at the house too.  We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful hom and were very comfortable here.  Thank you for making it so welcoming.  This trip brought back good memories of our younger years "up north" !  Hope to return next year!

July   -  we had a mixed bag of weather this week, but that did not stop us from having fun days.  Pontoon boat rides, golfing , visiting friends on Big St. Germain Lake and we ate at Blink Bonnies!!   Also Four Seasons on Big ARbor Vitae was excellent.  Loved Sunset Getaway.  Hope to be back in 2015!

Feb -  It was cold this stay,  Many hand and foot warmers used.  We came up north to go snowmobiliing and had a great time here.  Beautiful pine trees with snow on the trails.  Easy access to the lake and trails in the area.  An awesome adventure.  We're ready to make return plans soon!

January -  Here to snowmobile!  Spent a lot of time on the sleds.  our parents rented this beautiful home as our Christmas present and it was absolutely gorgeous!  Than you for making our experience warm and welcome!   Sayner Pub alwasy the best food!  We hope to visit in the future for more cold weather adventures and possibly some summer stays too!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.  We wer so blessed to laugh and make memories here with family!  Seeing deer, ducks and wildlive from the house was a treasure!  We truly appreciate our time here in St. Germain.

May -, Beautiful place, Beautiful Weather....no rain, 70s and 80s. We enjoyed fishing, (caught lots of pan fish) and kayaking during the day. At night we enjoyed making a campfire and just relaxing in the peace and quiet. The house has a very nice lay out and was comfortably funished. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

June -, We loved this lake house and felt right at home. So comfortable and relaxing! Thank you!. We would love to be back here the same time next year. The kids caught a ton of fish.. fishing off the dock until dark. Perch, bluegill, small mouth bass. We went swimming and tubing almost every day. We had fun gokarting. We ate at the 19th hole and went for ice cream.

July -, The weather started out rainey but it cleared and we had great weather the rest of the week. Our favorite adventures were fishing and boating. The kids had a wonderful week here. It is a beautiful home and we all enjoyed it. Thanks!

July -, This was our honeymoon vacation! 7/11-7/15. Then some of our family joined us for the rest of our time here. We love "up north" and wouldn't have had it anywhere else. We went to the Tiki Bar and Pub and Prime in St. Germain! Aberdeen Lodge in Manitowish waters and The Rusty Putter in Minocqua. We enjoyed golfing and cruising on the boat. The sand bar on Big St. Germain Lake was great. We went to the ski show and visited Little Bohemia. We had a great weather week, with just a little rain and mid 80s most of the time. Thanks much.

We had our 2 kids and their best friends with us so it was a blast to just se all the crazy fun that they were having. We played in the water most of the time. We als took the jet ski's to Lake Content. Spangs Pizza was great. And we cooked at the house most of the time. We loved how peacful it is here and we really enjoyed the sunsets an the pier.! Sunset Getaway is great!

July -, Wonderful weather, it was great for everything outdoors and comfortable indoors. We vacationed with our two little boys so lots of time spent playing mini golf at Eagle Falls Adventure Golf, playing in the water and fishing. We had campfires with marshmellows , went go carting , many boat rides and just running around ! Be sure to watch the sunset from the end of the pier!

August - The weather was Amazing here. We went water skiing, tubing, fishing and just spending time with our best firends. Great prime rib sandwich at Pub and Prime! Thank you for the memories. Your home is wonderful.

Sept -This is a lovely and well equipped lake home with a fantastic view! We had perfect sunny days, cool nights and beautiful fall color. We went hiking on the local trais and spotted deer and other wildlife. We ate at Minocqua Brewery, and had great food and drink. We hope to come again! Thank you

December -/January - Happy New Year. Got in two days of riding.. 170 miles on the sleds this trip. Wished we could have done more. Great home for our trip. Large enough and plenty of room for everyone. Had great meals at Hintz's North Start Lodge. Toasted the New Year with our family. Thanks

June - Did a lot of fishing this trip and always caught fish! Enjoyed family time, playing cards in the evening. Saw an eagle one morning pearched in the pine tree right by the house on the lake. Saw a deer with a fawn and heard the loons on the lake. All wonderful. Beautiful home, well furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time here and thank you. Hope to come back again. June -July  Warm sunny and one day in the high 90s. 5 little boys fished every morning off the dock! We boated, did some tubing.. great time with great friends. Thank you for sharing your home. See you next year!

July 3  Sunny weather most days, cool breezes. We watched wild life all week, eagles, osprey, herons, loons etc. We cooked in most of the time. Great kitchen here. Watched the 4th of July fireworks over Big St. Germain Lake.

July  We have taken many family trips and we rate this home the best! Hope to be back again! We went horseback riding, go carting, watched the sunset from the pier and the lakeside deck, went to the Flea Market in St. Germain! Ate at Fibbers for fish fry.. got there by boat. That was fun. Saw lots of eagles and wildlife. Thanks

July . We had a mix of weather this week and had a great family vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We went to many of our favorite restaurants in the area.

July -This was our first trip here and we thought the place was great. We will come back again. We enjoyed taking the boat across the lake to Clear View for dinner. Had great weather most of the week. Thanks again.

Aug - Our families went to Elmers go carts, Webers wild life zoo, fishing, boating, tubing, swimming at the beach and mini golfing. Ate at Paul Bunyans. That was great. A fun summer week.

Aug - The house was great for all of us and offered great sunsets with plenty of room for our 3 boats on the pier. We ate most meals at the home, but did visit the Red Canoe Coffee shop. Tubing in the lake, hanging out, walks after dinner, running and biking were some of our activities this week. Smores by the campfire at night!!! Thanks for the use of your home.

June - We had a fantastic weekend and absolutely loved your place. Thank you for allowing us to stay there! I am sure we will be back!

August - - We had a great week at Sunset Getaway!  The house worked great for our group.  We caught a lot of panfish off the dock and our grandson cauth a 16 inch large mouth bass right on the pier.  He was so excited!  He enjoyed his time so much he keeps asking when we can return. We are already talking about returning in 2014 to this home and beautiful lake!
